Abstract:
To provide a broadcasting system and a broadcasting method for transmitting broadcast information.SOLUTION: A broadcasting system according to an embodiment includes a master station, a plurality of relay stations that relay broadcast information transmitted from the master station, and a plurality of slave stations that receive the broadcast information transmitted from the plurality of relay stations. The plurality of relay stations are time-synchronized with other relay stations, and transmit radio signals each containing the same carrier frequency with synchronized transmission timing. If a faulty relay station that cannot synchronize time with other relay stations occurs among the plurality of relay stations, one or more relay stations are selected from the plurality of relay stations, and the radio signals are transmitted by shifting the transmission timing of the selected relay stations.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
