A motor is provided with an armature arranged in a cylinder and a lid member 31 which retains one end portion of a shaft of the armature and is attached to the cylinder. The motor is also provided with a temporary anchoring protrusion 50 disposed on a cylinder side of the lid member, brush members 24 which are arranged on the lid member being freely and elastically deformed in the diametric direction of a shaft and have brushes 43 which are made to abut against a commutator around shaft in the case of a natural state, temporary anchoring release arms 45 which are disposed upright on the cylinder side of the brush members, and arm pressing parts which re disposed on the lid side of the cylinder and release the temporary anchoring state of the brush members when the lid is attached to the cylinder. An abutting rib 39 which is made to abut against the temporary anchoring release arms which are pressed with the arm pressing parts is protruded on the inner surface of the lid.
