Abstract:
The brush device (100), which has one pair of brushes (30A), (30B) slidably in contact with a disk-shaped commutator, is equipped with: a first brush unit (101) which has a first brush (30A), a first terminal (40A), and a first pigtail (50A); and a second brush unit (102) which has a second brush (30B), a second terminal (40B), and a second pigtail (50B). When viewed from an axial direction of the commutator, the first brush unit (101) and the second brush unit (102) are disposed at point-symmetric positions about the center (CP) of the commutator, and pigtail connection parts (31j) for connecting the pigtails (50A), (50B) are respectively disposed on first side surfaces (31a) of the one pair of brushes (30A), (30B), said first side surface being one of the side surfaces of each brush in the circumferential direction of the commutator.
