To provide a brush device that can extend the life of a brush.
The brush device 1 includes: a shaft 2 that is driven to be rotated; a brush 4 formed by a plurality of metallic wire materials 3 extended in an axial direction opposite to a processing direction that is oriented from the outer periphery of the shaft 2 to a workpiece W while being lodged at a predetermined inclination angle (inclination angle β); a main flow passage 5 extended along the axial direction inside the shaft 2 through which a high pressure coolant flows; and injection holes 6 branched from the main flow passage 5 and extended forming a plurality of openings opened between the metallic wire materials 3 adjacent each other at roots of the metallic wire materials, thereby extending the life of the brush 4.
