Abstract:
To provide a brush holder device capable of realizing a noise removal function by a choke coil without ensuring a new space on a holder base, while imparting a power supply function to a brush spring, and thereby capable of achieving reduction in the number of components and simplification of structure, and to provide a DC motor mounting the same.SOLUTION: A pair of brush holders 8 for guiding a brush 6 and a pair of spring bearing terminals 7b supplied with power externally are provided on a holder base 4, and a brush spring 10 having electrical conductivity is wound around a pair of support pins 9 standing on the holder base 4. One end of the brush spring 10 is abutted on the spring bearing terminals 7b with elasticity, and the other end is abutted against the base end of the brush 6 with elasticity, thus energizing to the commutator 5 side, and power is supplied from the spring bearing terminals 7b to the brush 6 via the brush spring 10. All adjoining wires in the wound part 10a of the brush spring 10 are separated, and a ferrite core 11 is embedded in each support pin 9 so as to function as a choke coil.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
