Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate the improper slide of a brush in a motor by providing two cutouts on the side of a brush holder, and sufficiently increasing the longitudinal lengths of the cutouts of the holder to reduce the side pressure.

CONSTITUTION: Cutouts 6 are formed on the side of a brush holder 1, and the longitudinal length of the cutouts 6 of the holder 1 are sufficiently increased. Brushes 3 are sufficiently pressurized from the sides by the spring actuators 2 erected at the cutouts 6. punched holes 5 are formed at the actuators 2. The holder 1 is inserted into a brush holder assembling hole formed on a brush base, and calked at the reverse side of the holder 1. A coil spring for pressing the brush 3 to a commutator side is inserted in to the holder 1. A pigtail extended from the brush 3 contained in the holder 1 is projected from the upper hole 7 of the holder 1 and connected with a connector.
