Abstract:
To provide a brush and brush holder for a rotary electric machine, capable of preventing sticking between a brush and a bush holder.SOLUTION: The present invention comprises: a brush 11 which is energized by sliding a bottom face 11b against a slip ring 24 formed on a rotating shaft of a rotary electric machine and has serrated side faces 11c, 11d; or side plates 15a, 15b, 15c in contact with each other to surround the brush 11 (21). A brush holder 15, formed so that corners of the side plate 15a are spaced from adjacent other side plates 15b, 15c, can prevent sticking between the brush and the brush holder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
