Abstract:
To prevent the variations of the pressures applied to the brushes of a rotating electric machine and suppress their axial fluctuations to facilitate its assembling.
On the outer peripheral side of brushes 2 arranged radially on the outer peripheral of a collector ring 1 via brush holders 3, a strip 4 curved in a U-shaped manner is wound. With both the ends of this strip 4, one end of each tension spring 5 is connected respectively for the other end to be fixed respectively to a lower base 8 via fixtures 8a made of an FRP material and formed in an L-shaped manner.
