To provide a brush roll which allows easy attachment of brushes to a roll by inclining the brushes, and satisfactorily perform deburring.

The brushes 30 are disposed and bonded at suitable intervals onto a tape 32 with adhesive applied thereto. A length L of the tape 32 covers the entire circumference of each groove 24 of a roll core 20, and a width W of the tape 32 is approximately twice the depth of each groove 24. The tape 32 is bent in a V-shape along the center in a longitudinal direction thereof. Adhesive is previously loaded into the grooves 24 of the roll core 20, and the rear surface and back surface of the tape 32 bent in the V-shape are sequentially pushed thereinto. Thread 34 is bound by winding it around the entire circumference of the inside of the bent tape 32. The grooves 24 and a brush ring 31 have an inclination angle of 20°.
