Abstract:
To provide a brush roll shaft which has chemical resistance, is lightweight, rarely warps and can clean suitably a substrate for a liquid crystal display panel or the like and to provide a conveyance roll shaft.
A metallic spindle 10 is fit to both ends of a cylindrical core material 2, which is formed from a carbon fiber-reinforced plastic, in the axial direction and a PVC heat-shrinkable tube 3 is heat shrunken so that the outer peripheral surface of the core material 2 and at least a part of the outer peripheral surface of the spindle 10 adjacent to the end of the core material 2 in the axial direction are covered with the PVC heat-shrinkable tube 3.
