Abstract:
To restrain dispersion of density of brush piles in a brush roller using a brush fiber fabric in which brush piles are not planted at the end (selvage) of a base fabric.
A toner supply roller 52 as an example of the brush roller comprises: a core bar 521; and a brush fiber fabric 524 wound round the core bar 521. The brush fiber fabric 524 is provided with: a rectangular shape to be wound round the core bar 521 so that one side thereof is parallel to a rotating shaft 522 of the core bar 521. The surface of the core bar 521 is provided with a recessed part 523 parallel to the rotating shaft 521 to store the mutually opposite brush pile appearing surfaces of the brush fiber fabric 524.
