Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and economic method of manufacturing a brush sealing part having a brush fiber made of a non-metal material, the brush sealing part having a straight or curved extended part, and to provide a brush sealing part manufactured in the method.SOLUTION: A brush sealing part and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. The brush sealing part is composed of fiber bundles that are disposed closely to each other and wound around a core element 14 in a bundled manner. A free fiber end part (fiber area 16) is arranged at a placement angle α deviated from 90° with respect to the core element 14, and permanently held by fastening means 18 that partially surrounds the fiber.
