PURPOSE: To facilitate the change of the length of a brush and the force of a press spring, corresponding to the quality demand for life, noise, etc., by providing a brush holder part with plural pieces of terminal supports in the pressing direction of the brush.
CONSTITUTION: A brush holder part 2 has a guide A part 2a for guiding a brush 1 freely in sliding in the direction in which a commutator 20 is positioned and a guide B part 2b for inserting the brush 1 in the guide A part 2a, and also are provided with plural pieces of terminal supports 5 of through holes perpendicular to the guide A part 2a and parallel with a rotary shaft 21. According to this constitution, by changing the mounting position of a terminal 3 to the terminal support 5 on the side where the commutator 20 is positioned, the spring force of a press spring 4 can be strengthened, and the press spring force can be restored corresponding to the consumption of the brush 1 in the middle of the use of a motor. Moreover, by changing the terminal mounting position to the terminal support on the opposite side to the side where the commutator is positioned, the press spring force can be weakened. Moreover, the length of the brush can be lengthened.
