Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve a brushing effect by adopting structure of an electrically driven brush having a plural number of hard bristle holders driven by an electric motor stored in the brush. CONSTITUTION: A tooth brush has a handle 2 on one end and a brush head 4 on the other end. The brush head 4 has two groups of hard bristles 8a, 8b held by hard bristle holders 10a, 10b installed in it free to rotate. The hard bristle holder 10a of the first group is arranged as two rows straight and in parallel with each other, and each of the hard bristle holders can be rotated around their respective axes as their centers. The hard brisle holder 10b of the second group is also installed free to rotate around its respective axis as its center, and they are arranged circularly on a rotor 12 to be rotated around an axis in a center of the rotating axis of the hard bristle holder 10b as their center. An electric motor M fed from a battery B and to rotate all the hard bristle holders 10a, 10b is stored in the handle 2.
