To prevent the re-adhesion of dust or stain such as paint onto the inner surface of a cylinder by using an inner surface wiping brush where bristles radially planted in a hub are notched at every prescribed interval.

The hub 1 is constituted of long-sized channel steel, the plastic bristles 2 are planted in the groove part, both side surfaces constituting the channel steel are bent and integrated with the bristles 2 and, then, the bristles 2 are radially aligned with respect to the hub 1 by the rounding work of the hub 1. Then, the brush is inserted to the cylinder while being rotated and moved in the axial direction of the cylinder. Dust and stain such as paint adhered onto the inner surface of the cylinder are wiped-off by the tips of the bristles 2 and they are collected in the center part of the notch 3 after wiping and discharged to an outer part.
