To provide a brush facilitating application of an agent such as a hair dye or mascara agent to a keratinous and fibrous tissue such as hair or eyelashes.
The brush 10 has a brush part 13 in which a bristle member 15 retained by a core member 14 projects around the core member 14, at the front end of a support shaft 11. The core member 14 is composed of a linear front part 14a and a bent 14b joining the rear end of the front part 14a and the front end of the support shaft 11, respectively. The axis 16 of the front part 14a is spaced from the axis 17 of the shaft 11 by a predetermined distance so as to be substantially parallel to each other. It is preferable that the bristle member 15 be retained at the front part 14a and not retained at the bend 14b. The brush 10 is appropriately used for application of the agent to the keratinous and fibrous tissue.
