Abstract:
To provide a brushed DC motor capable of more accurately grasping a brush wear condition.SOLUTION: In a brushed DC motor including a stator, an armature core held rotatably for the stator, a commutator held so as to rotate integrally with the armature core, and two positive brushes and two negative brushes arranged in sliding contact with the commutator by a spring mechanism, brush wear condition determination means is provided for determining whether or not a difference between an average current value of a first current path, in which the first positive brush and a first negative brash are paired, a second positive brush and a second negative brush are paired, and which is formed between the positive brush and the first negative brush and an average current of a second current path which is formed between the second positive brush and the second negative brush is within a range of a predetermined difference threshold to determine a brush wear condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
