Abstract:
To improve visibility of the location of a brush on a brush holder.SOLUTION: In a brushed motor 10, a brush holder 24 houses a brush 22 so as to be movable toward a commutator 14. A spring 26 urges the brush housed in the brush holder 24 toward the commutator 14. The brush 22 has a jig mounting hole 22d to which a jig 32 is attached, and the brush holder 24 has an opening 24d. The opening 24d is formed in the brush holder 24 to ensure that the jig 32 can be attached to the jig mounting hole 22d of the brush 22 through the opening 24d. The opening 24d is formed in the brush holder 24 to be asymmetrical in the direction of movement of the brush 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
