Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brush or a brush device that is able to temporarily hold the brush when fitted to an armature, allows sharing of the brush and a brush holder regardless of a motor type and, moreover, is able to hold the brush on the brush holder stably.SOLUTION: A brush comprises: a leading-end part having a slide face disposed in slide contact with a commutator; a basal part provided integrally with the leading-end part and greater than the leading-end part in terms of the width, in a circumferential direction, of the commutator; a pig tail provided on an upper surface of the basal part; and parts to be engaged with biasing means, the parts being provided on both side faces of the basal part. In the brush, the parts to be engaged are provided in part, in a height direction, of the basal part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
