To provide a brushing apparatus, particularly a rotating mechanism of each work table of the brushing apparatus, which can positively transmit a rotating force of the rotating mechanism to the work table.

In the brushing apparatus, a rotating force of a driving roller 28 is transmitted to a driven roller 15 by bringing a driving-side contact surface 29 into contact with a driven-side contact surface 18 of the driven roller 15, and the rotating force transmitted to the driven roller 15 is transmitted to each work table 12. According to the structure of the brushing apparatus, a rotating force transmitting means such as a belt and a chain which has the risk of elongation or deformation, is not interposed between the rollers but the driving roller 28 and the driven roller 15 are brought into direct contact with each other, and therefore the risk of marring a function of transmitting a rotating force is eliminated. Further an indented portion 30 of the metallic driving-side contact surface 29 engages in the driven-side contact surface 18 having elasticity, and therefore the rotating force can be positively transmitted.
