Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the pollution of a rotating polygon mirror by the oil mist scattered from the bearing of a brushless motor where said polygon mirror is mounted.

CONSTITUTION: The apex of a rotor magnet 9 is projected toward a rotary shaft 1 so as to form a ring-shaped flange 9a. A circular projection 5c the top of which faces, leaving slight space, the bottom of ring-shaped flange 9a is provided circularly at the periphery of a bearing bracket 5. It shuts off the air current flowing in the bearing and reduces the scattering of oil mist.
