Abstract:
To provide a technique of a brushless DC motor capable of improving an assembling workability of a hall element.SOLUTION: A brushless DC motor in a certain aspect is provided to a ceiling fan, the brushless DC motor comprising: three hall elements HE1, HE2, and HE3 arranged in a circumferential direction; a circuit board 48 supplying a driving current to a stator on the basis of a detection signal of the three hall elements HE1, HE2, and HE3; and a hall element holder 410 holding the three hall elements HE1, HE2, and HE3 to the circuit board 48. The hall element holder 410 includes: a housing part 414 housing a main body part 460 of the hall elements HE1, HE2, and HE3; and a plurality of passage parts 416 guiding a plurality of lead wires 461, 462, 463, and 464 extended from the main body part 460, respectively to a plurality of outlet parts on the circuit board 48 side. The adjacent outlet parts from the plurality of outlet parts are provided at a position separated in a radial direction from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
