To provide a brushless motor capable of reducing the cost.
In the brushless motor 10, an outer ring 44B for a second ball bearing 44 is supported from the axial one side (Z1 side) of a rotating shaft 26 by the bottom section 40B of a second housing recessed section 40 formed to a stator core 34, while being supported from the axial other side (Z2 side) of the rotating shaft 26 by a bearing supporting section 48 formed to a center piece 16. Accordingly, a sleeve member (a bush) for supporting the outer ring 44B for the second ball bearing 44 from the axial one side and other side of the rotating shaft 26 can be dispensed with. A wave washer 50 is interposed and held between the bottom section 38B of a first housing recessed section 38 formed to the stator core 34 and a first ball bearing 42. Consequently, a special member (a support plate) for fixing the wave washer 50 to the stator core 34 can also be dispensed with. As a result, the cost can be reduced.
