To provide a brushroll which has excellent washing capability of generating no unwashed remainder in the surface to be washed and high eliminating capability of effectively and surely eliminating targeted objects such as foreign matters and a washing device equipped with the brushroll mounted on the same and enhances the quality of the surface to be washed.
The brushroll 1 has a substantially rod-shape or cylindrical-shape rotation shaft 3, brush sections 2a, 2b helically wound around the outer periphery of the rotation shaft 3. The brush section 2a, 2b is formed by helically winding brush bodies 4a, 4b composed of strips 6 with substantial U-shaped crosssection and channel brushes 5 constituted of brush bristle materials 8 held by the strips 6 along with core wires 7 around the outer periphery of the rotation shaft 3. The brush bodies 4a, 4b are wound around the rotation shaft 3 such that the inclination angle 1 when winding becomes symmetrical around the symmetric axis 10 set in a part in an axial C.L. direction of the rotation shaft 3, are plurally arranged side by side in the right and left, and are fixed to the outer periphery of the rotation shaft 3 with the fixing means 11 to form the brushroll.
