To provide a bubble preventing water channel structure for a water discharge passage in a power station which prevents the generation of bubbles in the water discharge passage to discharge cooling seawater used in the power station to the open sea, wherein a great amount of bubbles are generated by the mixture of air in splash generation areas caused by a water level, then a siphon water channel structure is applied between the water level sections to prevent air from being mixed, and to eliminate the generation of bubbles.
By the application of the siphon water channel structure between the water level sections at existing water discharge passage outlet, the cooling seawater is discharged in water before/after the water level sections. The water channel structure includes an upstream current storage tank for preventing an air inflow therein when the water flows into the siphon water passage, a priming pump for the smooth discharging of the first water inflow, and a flow rate control water-gate for coping with discharge-water rate fluctuation. Furthermore, a water passage branch type bypass siphon water passage structure can be applied when the direct installation of the water channel structure is difficult between existing water discharge sections.
