To provide a bubble tower and a reactor using the same, which can reliably and stably agitate, dissolve or react an objective fluid to be processed at a high efficiency even in a wide range quantity of gas supply ranging from a small quantity to a large quantity without using agitating elements and therefore is excellent in economical efficiency.
In a bubble tower 1 where an objective fluid to be processed is agitated, dissolution into the objective fluid to be processed is carried out and reaction with the objective fluid is brought about, the bubble tower 1 features the following points: equipped with a box body 2 having deformed channels 6, 7 each opening at the top and bottom and each having gradually changing sectional forms in the flowing direction and a gas-dispersing means 5: and upward transferring the objective fluid together with innumerable bubbles in the deformed channels of the box body by supplying gas from the gas- dispersing means 5 in a bubbled state.
