Abstract:
To perform the work of loading coal or the like for a short time by using a crane.
The bucket crane 10 for transporting a material using a bucket includes: a base 18; a main unit 28 mounted to the base 18; an arm 30 rotatably connected to the main unit 28 in a vertical direction, and extending in a diagonally upward direction; a conveyor mechanism 26 extending horizontally from the main unit 28; and a wire 32 suspended from the end of the arm 30 to end of which the bucket 24 is connected where the arm 30 and the conveyor mechanism 26 are rotatable in the horizontal direction around the same axis so that a direction in which the arm 30 extends constantly matches a direction in which the conveyor 26 extends.
