Abstract:
PURPOSE: To mount a pillar trim onto a pillar panel stably and increase rigidity of a mounting structure by providing a mounting reference part when the pillar trim is installed on the pillar panel.
CONSTITUTION: Multiple inserting parts 4a through 4e projected integrally from the rear surface 2a of a pillar trim 2 are inserted into inserting holes 3a through 3e formed in a pillar panel 1, respectively, and the pillar trim 2 is fixed to the pillar panel 1 with clips 8 for connecting the inserting parts 4a through 4e to the inserting holes 3a through 3e at their peripheries 19a and 19b, respectively. In the mounting structure of the pillar trim 2, ribs 6 and 7 are provided at the inserting part 4e among multiple inserting parts 4a through 4e, and the mounting position of the pillar trim 2 onto the pillar panel 1 is restricted by a fixing action between the ribs 6 and 7 and the periphery of the inserting hole 4e.
