Abstract:
To provide a buckling-type impact absorption structure which can softly absorb an impact without damaging a vehicle as much as possible even if the impact is a physical impact from a jump-in vehicle or the like (larger than a physical impact at a collision of a 2T-vehicle at 60 km per hour more or less).SOLUTION: There is provided an impact absorption structure 10 which is formed by integrating two pieces of hollow three-dimensional structures 20. The hollow three-dimensional structures 20 have upper faces 30 and bottom faces 40 which are in a parallel positional relationship with respect to each other and which have different areas. The areas of the upper faces 30 are formed so as to become smaller than the areas of the bottom faces 40. The upper faces 30 and the bottom faces 40 having different areas have a common center axis 50. The buckling-type absorption structure 10 is formed by commonly possessing the upper face 30 sides of the two pieces of hollow three-dimensional structures 20 when integrating the two pieces of hollow three-dimensional structures 20 to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
