The placing shelf is a slide out type to move the buddhist altar fittings back and forth while the buddhist altar fittings are placed on the shelf. A notch is formed at a part of the shelf immediately above the placing shelf. When the placing shelf on which the buddhist altar fittings are placed is moved backward and stored, the buddhist altar fittings are housed in the notch part of the shelf immediately above the placing shelf and do not contact with the shelf.
