To provide a Buddhist altar capable of inhibiting the objects on a stand from getting messed up at the time of religious service.SOLUTION: A cover 10 of a Buddhist altar 100 can rotate while a stand 20 is housed in a main body 30, and can be stood upright on a top surface 30A of the main body 30. The main body 30 includes a first side wall part 31 and a second side wall part 32. The second side wall part 32 includes a first cutout area 32B. The stand 20 includes a first side plate part 21 and a second side plate part 22. The second side plate part 22 includes a second cutout area 22B, and the first cutout area 32B can be closed or opened in the housing state. The stand 20, in the housing state, can be slid in a first direction D1, from the second side wall part 32 to the first side wall part 31, or the reversing second direction D2. According to the slide motion of the stand 20 in the first direction D1 of the housing state of the stand, the second side plate part 22 shifts from the closed state to the opened state of the first cutout area 32B. The second cutout area 22B cannot be opened in the closed state, and in the opened state, a first object T used for religious service is opened so that it can be taken out and put in the inside of the stand 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
