PURPOSE: To prevent the engulfing of air when a small quantity of circulating water is circulated and to clean a bathtub with a minimum quantity of cleaning water by forming a buffer at the bottom section of the bathtub, fitting a buffer cover with a slit, and fitting a cap with a slit at a circulation port.
CONSTITUTION: A buffer 3 is formed at the bottom section 2 of a bathtub, a circulation port 4 is formed in the buffer 3, and a cap 12 with a slit 13 for preventing the engulfing of air is fitted to the circulation port 4. A buffer cover 10 with a slit 11 is fitted to the buffer 3. For the cleaning action of the bathtub, the cleaning water flowing into the buffer 3 from the bathtub is temporarily squeezed by the slit 11 of the buffer cover 10, it further flows in along the wall face of the buffer 3, it is squeezed by the slit 13 of a cap 12, and it is sucked into the circulation port 4. The engulfing of air is blocked, and a circulating pump is prevented from being made nonfunctional.
