PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorber capable of preventing the entry of water into a vehicle chamber.SOLUTION: A shock absorber A includes: a shock absorber body D which is interposed between a vehicle body B and a wheel of a vehicle and has an outer shell 1, and a rod 2 entering/moving out from the outer shell 1; a collar 6 installed on an outer periphery of the rod 2; and a pair of rubber bushes 7U and 7L installed on an outer periphery of the collar 6 to clip an attaching portion b1 of the vehicle body B. The collar 6 is formed with a hole 6a communicating to a room R formed between the rubber bushes 7U and 7L, and the room R is communicated to the outside of the shock absorber A through the hole 6a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
