Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building concrete block which is advantageously available in forming a through hole in part of a wall or a fence of a building, dispenses with field work such as cutting of an upper end face or a lower end face of the concrete block, and filling of a hole formed in the same, allows relatively free design of the shape of the through hole, secures a wide vertical groove and a wide horizontal groove in the concrete for arranging reinforcements therein, and allows the reinforcements to be covered with thick mortar by filling a large amount of filling mortar, to thereby improve the durability and structural strength of the wall or the like formed by masonry.
SOLUTION: According to the building concrete block 10 having a rectangular outer shape, one or two recessed grooves 13a are formed in an upper surface 13 thereof in a manner longitudinally crossing the block to be opened in a front surface 11 and a rear surface 12, and maintaining a constant cross sectional shape in both the front and rear surfaces. Further the building concrete block has a horizontal groove 14a formed in a lower surface 14 thereof, for arranging a horizontal reinforcement therein, and vertical grooves 16a, 15a formed in right and left surfaces 16, 15 thereof, for arranging vertical reinforcements therein.
