To provide a building that secures ventilating performance while insulating heat between stories.
The outside of a floor girder 20 on the upper floor and the outside of a ceiling girder 16 on the lower floor are heat-insulated by a first beam outside heat insulating material 54 and a second beam outside heat insulating material 58 to prevent the movement of heat in an indoor-outdoor direction. The inside of an external wall material 42 of a lower floor building unit 12 and the inside of an external wall material 42 of an upper floor building unit 12 are respectively provided with ventilating layers 56, but since the ventilating layer 56 corresponding to the lowr floor building unit 12 and the ventilating layer 56 corresponding to the upper floor building unit 12 communicate with each other through a ventilation spacer 60 arranged between the second beam outside heat insulating material 58 and the external wall material 42, the upper and lower ventilating layers 56 are not intercepted even if the second beam outside heat insulating material 58 is disposed inside the external wall material 42 to bring the second beam outside heat insulating material 58 into close contact with a beam side face, and air flows continuously from the foundation side to the roof side.
