PURPOSE: To automatically bundle crossed bar members like steel rods, logs, bamboos, etc.

CONSTITUTION: Bundling wires 2 are fed toward the crossing section 1C to bundle bar members 1A, 1B by a feeder and the fed wire 2 is fixed at the front end thereof by a front end holder equipped in a guide trough 45 in a winding mechanism. And after the fed wire 2 is wound up by a specified number around the crossing section 1C of bar members 1A, 1B by a winder 4, the base end is fixed to a base end holder. Moreover, the wire 2 fixed at both ends is twisted at the middle thereof by a twisting means 6 to constrict the twisted part up to the crossing section 1C. Thereafter, the twisted part is squashed by a press 9 toward the crossing section 1C.
