Abstract:

To provide a building equipped with a floor-to-floor storage layer for taking sunlight into the building to utilize natural light for a life style and effectively save energy by forming light guide ducts using the floor-to-floor storage layer between an upper floor living part and a lower floor living part.

The floor-to-floor storage layer 70 as high as half the layer is laid between the upper floor living part 13 and the lower floor living part 12. The floor-to-floor storage layer 70 is provided with floor-to-floor storage boxes 14a, 14b, and the light guide horizontal ducts 21a, 21b, 21d on the inner peripheral faces of which light reflecting materials are mounted, which horizontally guide sunlight taken out of light passage ports 17a, 17b, 17d along the floor-to-floor storage layer 70, and which have light release ports 71, 74 for irradiating the guided sunlight to a first-floor habitable part 12. In part of the floor-to-floor storage layer 70, an open ceiling 72 of the first-floor habitable part 12 is formed in which the floor-to-floor storage boxes 14a, 14b and the light guide horizontal ducts 21a, 21b, 21d are not provided.
