Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve disaster prevention performance, in a building and a fire extinguishing system of the building.SOLUTION: A building is provided with: a lower base slab 65 provided on the ground 62; an upper base slab 66 provided above the lower base slab 65, and installed with an atomic reactor container 11; a seismic isolator 67 having a plurality of seismic isolation structures 70 arranged at prescribed intervals in the horizontal direction between the upper base slab 66 and the lower base slab 65; pits 71 provided on the lower base slab 65, and each storing the seismic isolation structure 70; and a fire extinguishing device 101 supplying a fire extinguishing agent into the pits 71. When a fire occurs in the seismic isolation structure 70, the fire extinguishing device 101 supplies the fire extinguishing agent (water) of a fire vehicle 111 and a fire extinguishing agent storage tank 112 from fire extinguishing agent supply lines 102A, 102B, jets the fire extinguishing agent toward the seismic isolation structures 70 to extinguish the fire, the fire extinguishing agent is stored inside the pits 71, the seismic isolation structures 70 are immersed in the fire extinguishing agent, and the fire is certainly extinguished.
