This system comprises a database server 1 registering information such as commodity information related to a building, structure/construction method information or commodity competition information; and a plurality of terminals 8 connected thereto through a communication network 7 including a wide area network 6. The database server 1 includes a basic detailed information registration part 11, an optional information registration part 12, an input information association part 16, and a classification display function part 17. Each terminal 8 includes a retrieval means 20 retrieving the storage content of the database server 1 by performing a predetermined input to a retrieval screen or a predetermined selection processing, and displaying retrieval result information on the screen, and an optional information input means 21 inputting the optional information.
