To provide a building applied with water repellent countermeasures using a sealant in response to building environment, and to provide a joint selection system.
In the building environment full of powder or dust, a plasticizer-free sealant is used in a joint 30 while in the building environment less of powder or dust, a plasticizer-containing sealant is used, in response to the building environment (whether or not a building is full of powder or dust on its circumference). Practically, kinds of sealant to be used (the presence or absence of the plasticizer) can be properly used in response to the building environment, to apply water repellent countermeasures, with excellent effects. Thereby, excessive quality can be controlled in the building environment less of powder and dust, with reduction in cost.
