Abstract:
To provide a building material having a termiticidal effect by adding a termite controller to the building material and a method for preventing termite using the building material.
This building material 1 is made of a synthetic resin mixed with a termiticide. Its crosssectional shape is an inverted channel shape having a horizontal projected part at least at one side. The building material is laid on the top of frame molds 3 and 4 for concrete foundation of building to be left as a part of the building and/or its surface reinforcing material and used to obtain a termiticidal effect.
