Abstract:
To provide a building material which can suppress discoloration of wood.SOLUTION: A building material includes wood, a wood protective sheet and a fixing layer. The wood protective sheet includes a synthetic resin sheet. The fixing layer fixes the wood protective sheet to the wood. A grain of the wood is visible through the wood protective sheet. The fixing layer is a layer of an adhesive or a tackiness agent containing an acrylic resin having a glass transition point of -10°C or lower. The wood is made of, for example, a lumber. The synthetic resin sheet includes, for example, a sheet of a polycarbonate resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
