Abstract:
To estimate earthquake information on the stories of a building from earthquake information detected by sensors provided on the limited number of stories.SOLUTION: A building response estimation method, when each of a plurality of stories is defined as i, and a normalized height obtained by dividing the height of each of the plurality of stories by the height of the highest story for normalization as hi, and a first function A(hi) and a second function B(hi) are defined as a function of the normalized height hi, represents, by using the above, the shape of a vibration mode in which the degree of the building is a j-th order through formulation, acquires a shake range of each of the plurality of stories i for each of the plurality of degrees j by the vibration mode shape formula to determine a vibration mode shape, calculates a coefficient corresponding to each of the plurality of stories i based on the shake range, observes and acquires earthquake information from each of sensors provided on a plurality of observation stories in the plurality of stories i, and applies the coefficient to data based on the earthquake information to estimate earthquake information on non-observation stories different from the plurality of observation stories in the plurality of stories i.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
