PURPOSE: To provide a building stone with least color tone irregularity and high design effect.

CONSTITUTION: First the back facing of a material building stone 1 is impregnated with a highly permeable coloring agent 2, and an inorganic fibrous plate 3 is junctioned under pressure to the back facing to manufacture a building stone. As an alternative method, the highly permeable coloring agent 2 is applied to the back facing of the material building stone 1, then the coloring agent 2 is dried with an excess amount of the agent removed, and the inorganic fibrous plate 3 with an applied adhesive is bonded together with the material building stone 1 by adhering the inorganic fibrous plate 3 to the coloring agent 2-applied facing of the material building stone 1, under pressure to manufacture the building stone.
