To provide a building-type rice polishing facility configured so that rice thrown from a guest room side can be visually recognized, which has high visibility and whose partition wall has sufficient strength.SOLUTION: A building-type rice polishing facility, in which a building thereof has a partition wall partitioning the inside thereof into a guest room and a machine room and a rice polishing device comprises an operation panel, a brown rice throwing port, a rice polisher, a conveyance pipe passage through which raw rice is conveyed by airflow and a rice ejection port, comprises an examining part for visually recognizing brown rice being conveyed, where the examining part comprises a transparent pipe constituting a portion of the conveyance pipe passage and a storing body having a hollow structure. The storing body is fitted to a mounting hole formed in the partition wall and is fixed to the partition wall. A window part is formed in an exposed surface part of the storing body exposed through the mounting hole to the guest room side. The conveyance pipe part penetrates through the storing body, and at least a portion of the transparent pipe is positioned in the storing body, which enables the transparent pipe to be visually recognized through the window part from the guest room side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
