Title:
BUILDING WALL STABILIZER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08302859
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent the deformation of impulsive load by joining a triangular stabilizer with two arms mutually extended at an angle of 90° and a triangular reinforcing place at the four corners of horizontal wood and vertical wood.

In the stabilizer 22 integrally molded of a steel plate in a 16 gage, two arms 30 extended from a corner section 32 at 90° are formed, and the length of the arms 30 is set in minimally 10 inches. One side of the arms 30 are joined mutually by the triangular reinforcing plate 34, and two mutually parallel reinforcing ribs 36 are formed in parallel with the outer edge of the reinforcing plate 34 to increase the strength of the stabilizer 22. The stabilizers 22 are fixed onto vertical wood and horizontal wood by anchor bolts and mounted at the four corners of a panel respectively, and installed onto the internal surface of the underlayer of one surface of the panel. Accordingly, tensile force and compressive force generated from impulsive load such as an earthquake, a wind or the like are dispersed to the whole panel, and the resiliency of the wooden panel can be extracted maximally.
