Abstract:
To provide a building of a foundation structure superior in termite repellency and airtightness.SOLUTION: The building comprises: a concrete foundation 1; and a bed 2 placed on the upper surface of the concrete foundation via a packing material 3. The packing material 3 is constituted of a flexible resin or rubber sheet material 11 and multiple projections 12 disposed on the upper surface thereof. The projection 12 is formed of foamed silicone mixed with a delayed active thiamethoxam superior in safety property and effectiveness as termite prevention agent. The decomposition temperature of the thiamethoxam is 139°C, and the foamed silicone foams at a normal temperature and is superior in elasticity. Since a spacer 4 is disposed between the foundation 1 and the bed 2, the projection 12 is rarely collapsed excessively. Therefore, the building is ensured with high durability, and in the case that the spacer 4 has an isolation function, the followability is also ensured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
