Title:
BUILT-IN MAGNETIC RESONANCE POWER CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6412864
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a resonance power converter employing a built-in magnetic transformer core in which efficiency and reliability are enhanced by providing the core with three magnetically coupled leg parts applied, respectively, ∥with primary through tertiary windings. CONSTITUTION: A built-in core 2 being employed in a resonance DC-DC converter comprises a core having three independent leg parts P through T coupled magnetically with each other. Primary through tertiary windings 4 through 8 are applied to corresponding leg parts P through T. The primary winding 4 is connected, on one side thereof, with a DC input voltage supply terminal 10 and, on the other side thereof, with a switch 12 forming a circuit upon closing. The secondary winding 6 is connected, on one side, with an output terminal 14 supplying a regulated DC output through a diode D1. The tertiary winding 8 is connected across a resonance capacitor CR to form an LC resonance circuit. The resonance circuit is connected through the core 2 with the primary winding 4 in order to shape the current of the primary winding 4 into a sinusoidal pulse.
