Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bulb turbine power generation facility that can improve turbine efficiency by straightening a flow of water flowing into a flow passage between a bulb turbine and a flow passage wall.SOLUTION: A bulb turbine power generation facility 1 according to an embodiment comprises: a flowing water passage 3 defined by a flow passage wall 4 to guide flowing water from an upper reservoir 2; and a bulb turbine 10 provided in the flowing water passage 3. Straightening members 20 are provided on the upstream side of the bulb turbine 10 in the flowing water passage 3. The straightening members 20 extend in a direction orthogonal to a mainstream direction of the flowing water in the flowing water passage 3, and straighten the flowing water flowing into the bulb turbine 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
