PURPOSE: To clear the appearance of color of food, emphasize red and blue, and form a soft light color by providing a light emitting tube to the inner surface of which a white phosphor is adhered in a soda glass outer bulb containing neodium oxide.

CONSTITUTION: In a soda glass outer bulb containing neodium oxide, a light emitting tube to the inner surface of which a white phosphor is adhered is provided. Since the yellow part of white light is absorbed, thus, a bulb type fluorescent lamp used for dining table and kitchen capable of providing a clear appearance of color can be provided. Further, a light diffusive film is provided on the outer bulb inner surface, whereby a soft atmosphere can be provided. The amount of the neodium oxide contained as the component of the soda glass outer bulb is set to 5-9wt.%, whereby a large reduction in brightness can be suppressed. Thus, clearness is improved, yellow area in relative spectral distribution is cut, different from a conventional relative spectral distribution, to emphasize blue and red colors, and a soft light color can be realized.
